The BeagleBone Black is the newest member of the BeagleBoard family. It
is a lower-cost, high-expansion focused BeagleBoard using a low cost
Sitara™ AM3358 ARM® Cortex™-A8 processor from Texas Instruments,
and can connect with the Internet and run software such as Angstrom and
Ubuntu. Like its predecessors, the BeagleBone Black is designed to
address the Open Source Community, early adopters, and anyone interested
in a low cost ARM® Cortex™-A8 based processor.
